U15 LL #1 TOURNAMENT CHAMPS CONGRATULATIONS
🏆Champions! The Oak Ridges Kings Local League U15 Team #1 had an amazing run at the Lefroy Fall Faceoff Tournament this past weekend.
They kicked things off with a hard-earned 1-1 tie against the Coldwater Wildcats, then powered through with a 4-1 win over the Stittsville Rams and a 3-1 victory against the Leitrim Hawks, earning their spot in the championship final.
In the final, the Kings faced the Coldwater Wildcats once again in a nail-biting first period that ended in a 1-1 tie.
The team came back even stronger, scoring in the second period and adding another goal in the third to clinch a 3-1 championship win against a well-matched opponent. It was a powerful finish to an outstanding tournament run.
A huge thank you to Head coach Vincent, Assistant coaches J-P and Tod and trainers Jim and Adam, all the amazing parents and the tournament staff and convenors for a well-organized tournament weekend.
Most importantly, the players played with heart and gave their all every single game-every one of them is an MVP! We couldn't be more proud of our boys!
