Coyotes AAA - WIN FOR REESE
Submitted By Webmaster on Thursday, November 21, 2019
Just days before the Bradford Blue and Gold Tournament, the Caledon Hawks
Minor Bantam AE team was delivered some devastating news about one of their teammates.
Reese Meyer #3 was diagnosed with an inoperable growth on his brain.
There is a Go Fund Me Page available for anyone looking to make a donation to Sick Kids Hospital In Reese’s name.  I believe it is under the name “Brooks's Birthday Fundraiser for Reese Meyer”

The team went into the tournament with one goal "Win for Reese."  The Boys were determined to win the tournament for their teammate and best friend Reese.  Reese was an integral part of the team for this tournament, his sweater was prominently hung by the bench at every game, and inspirational speeches from the coaches fueled the team to complete their goal.  With constant updates back to the family at Sick Kids, the team went undefeated going into the Championship game.  The photograph above shows the emotional inspirational speech the coaching staff started the game with.  The kids gave it their all and ended up with a 2-1 victory over the Northhumberland Nighthawks.  In a fitting end to an emotional tournament, before the players received their gold medals, #3 Reese Meyer was selected unanimously as the Tournament MVP.  Stay strong Reese!  Your Caledon Hawks family is behind you  GO REESE GO!!

Please keep Reese and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
