Richmond Hill Stars Minor Atom A team captured the silver medal over the weekend in Niagara Falls Peter Mancuso November Challenge tournament!
The team started the tournament with a 3-0 win over Brampton 45's Friday morning followed by a 0-0 tie with Southpoint Capitals that afternoon.
On Saturday morning, the Stars won their group with another impressive 3-0 shutout win over TNT Tornadoes in a "must win and not allow any goals against" game.
On Saturday night, the Stars fell behind 3-2 to Barrie Colts but were able to battle back for a 4-3 shutout victory in the semi-final game. The win secured a ticket for the team into Sunday’s final.
In the final, the Stars met up with Vaughan Rangers. It was a hard fought game by both teams, and Vaughan Rangers was able to win the game.
