Introducing Richmond Hill Hockey Association's Free Hockey Program!

At Richmond Hill Hockey Association (RHHA), we believe in making hockey accessible to all.

That's why we're thrilled to offer the Free Hockey Program, designed to help new players hit the ice without financial barriers.

This innovative program offers a 100% credit for the registration fee to new hockey players with no prior experience in recreational league hockey.

Why Join Our Free Hockey Program?

  • Cost-Effective Start: The Free Hockey Program covers the full cost of your first year's registration fee. It's our way of investing in new players who are just discovering their love for the game.

  • Easy Entry: No special sign-up required! If you're new to hockey and register for our program, you're automatically eligible.

  • Inclusive and Welcoming: You don’t have to be a Richmond Hill resident to benefit. We welcome all new players, regardless of where they live.

Program Benefits:

  • Supportive Environment: Our program is designed to provide a welcoming, encouraging space where new players can learn and grow.

  • Skill Development: Participants will receive quality coaching, focusing on fundamental skills and teamwork.  No prior skating experience is necessary for players in this program!

  • Community Building: Join a community of players and families who share your passion for hockey.  Our Association and its member families will welcome you and make your introduction to hockey a smooth and fun experience!

How It Works:

1. Register for the Season: Just sign up for our House League or Initiation Programs. The eligibility for the Free Hockey Credit will be determined based on no prior sanctioned hockey experience.

2. Enjoy the Season: We track attendance, and as long as you meet the minimum participation required, your credit will be assured.

3. Credit Application: At the end of the season, we apply the credit to your account, covering your registration fee for the next year.
