Congratulations to the 2005 Peewee AE Stars
on winning Gold at the 2017 Oshawa Cup.
After a slow start to the tournament, the Stars fought their way back to secure the final semi-final spot. Playing with great poise and composure, the team avenged their opening game loss by defeating the Clarington Toros 3-1.
In a fast paced exciting championship final, demonstrating true discipline, sportsmanship and determination, the Stars defeated the Aurora Tigers 4-1.
This tournament win is a testament to the team’s competitive drive and focus. Excellent performances from all three lines, with rock solid goaltending, were key to the team’s success. Team chemistry was the main objective and the Stars no doubt were successful in reaching this goal.
